  1. Hey I was just wondering if you had a great recipe for chicken lasagna. Also, how do you feel about substitutions when following recipes? Do you think you could stumble onto something amazing with a substitution or is one just being lazy in a culinary way?!

  2. Actually J, I have a fabulous recipe for chicken lasagna. A very good friend of mine made it for me once and then I badgered her for the recipe. I’ll post it — stay tuned! 😉
    As far as substitutions go, I agree with substituting according to your tastes or what you happen to have on hand. Usually when I first try a recipe I try to follow it to the letter, then adjust as necessary after.
    Some people though are brave enough to just substitute away, right out of the gate. I have to admire those people. Sometimes they get wonderful results. Other times they end up with Chicken/Beef Sweet Sherry Cream Cheese pasta……I guess it’s all according to taste! 😉
